What is the Silver Fern Farms Co-Operative Store?
The Silver Fern Farms Co-Operative Store is an online ordering system for shareholders and suppliers who want to purchase products directly from Silver Fern Farms.
Who can use this service?
Shareholders of Silver Fern Farms Co-operative or farmers who have supplied stock to Silver Fern Farms in the past 12 months.
How do I use this service?
To place an order, follow these instructions:
- Select the plant location you would like to pick up your product from
- Select the products and quantities of cartons you would like to purchase
- Follow the purchase instructions, including entering your supplier or shareholder number
- Select your pickup date
- Once you have confirmed your payment by credit or debit card, product will be organized for your pickup
Depending on the contact method provided you will receive a confirmation email or SMS which will include details of where/when to pick up and a reminder the day prior to pick up.
Essential Visitor Notification
The following practices must be followed when at any Silver Fern Farms Site:
Do not enter our site if you are unwell or have been in contact with a person suspected of having close contact with or symptoms of Covid-19.
Before you enter our site you must:
Complete a risk assessment with the designated member from Silver Fern Farms and be approved for entry
Once onsite you must:
1. Discontinue physical greetings such as handshakes.
2. Wash or sanitise your hands upon arrival
3. Always Maintain at least 2-meter distance between yourself and other people.
4. Avoid cafeteria and break areas.
5. Follow safe hygiene practices when using our facilities such as bathrooms

When do I have to place my order by?
To ensure product is available, orders placed before Thursday are available for collection the following week. Available pickup dates are shown for selection prior to order submission.
Where do I pick it up from at the plant?
Please report to reception at the plant. Health and Safety is very important to Silver Fern Farms so please follow the clearly marked pathways at the plant and follow all instructions given to you by our staff members.
Can I get product delivered?
No. At this time we offer a pickup service only.
When do I pick up my order?
Pickup times/dates vary by plants. You will receive a reminder the day prior to pickup.

Can I pick up on a day that is not shown as an option?
No. To ensure we have the products available for you at your chosen location we require time to process your order.
What happens if I can’t pick up my product on the day I’ve chosen?
If for any reason you are unable to pick-up your purchased product on the specified day, please contact our customer services team on 0800 362 362 or email@example.com within 24 hours prior to the arranged pickup time to reschedule to a later date. You will need to have your order number, pickup location and date to make any changes.
What if I don’t want a whole carton of product?
Currently we can only offer whole cartons of our products. You could talk to your family/friends/neighbours to see if they want to share the costs of a carton with you.
Who can place the orders?
Only Shareholders and Suppliers can place an order online. Pickup dates are selected at the time of order and credit card payment is required to complete the purchase.
Which products are available for ordering?
A selection of our beef and lamb products are available to order by the carton. Our current range includes:

- Beef Striploin
- Beef Rib-eye Roll
- Beef Eye Fillet
- Lamb Racks
Why can't I see the product I want to order?
Seasonal changes may mean some items are temporarily unavailable.
Why can't I see my preferred pickup location?
Seasonal changes may mean your preferred pickup location is not operating for a short period of time.
Can I change pickup location?
If you need to change your pickup location, please contact our customer services team on 0800 362 362 or firstname.lastname@example.org no less than 7 days prior to the arranged pickup time to reschedule to a different location.
Can I have someone else collect my order?
Yes. Please make sure they know what your order number is and what the order contains.
